About Broken Hearts

What is Broken Hearts?

Broken Hearts is an American streetwear brand founded in 2026. The brand produces washed heavyweight T-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, zip-up hoodies, sweat shorts, and snapback caps, all built around hand-drawn tattoo flash artwork and Old English blackletter lettering. Broken Hearts is based in the U.S.A. and releases its collections in limited runs.

The brand's house mark is the Horseshoe Heart: a horseshoe bent into the shape of a heart with its ends turned downward. Luck and love, drawn as the same shape, both hanging the wrong way up.

The philosophy behind Broken Hearts

Broken Hearts starts from a plain observation: the thing people have most in common is the thing they are least willing to show. Heartbreak has no demographic. It does not care about money, city, or how hard someone is.

Tattoo culture solved this a century ago. When something breaks you, you don't hide it — you draw it, outline it in black, and wear it on your skin. A dagger through a heart is not a cry for help. It's a receipt. It says this happened to me and I'm still here.

That is the entire brand. Take the thing that hurt, render it in clean line work, set it in Old English so it reads like a name carved on a wall, and print it across the back of a washed black tee at full scale, visible from across the street.

Four principles guide every Broken Hearts release:

  1. Outline only. No fills, no gradients, no digital effects. Flash art is honest because there is nowhere to hide a bad line.
  2. Softness counts as hardware. The hot pink colorway and the daisy sleeve panels are not a secondary women's line. They are the point. Armor with flowers on it is a more accurate picture of a person than armor alone.
  3. Nothing arrives new. Garments are washed, faded, dropped-shoulder, and cut-hem. Clothing that already looks like it has been through something is easier to be honest in.
  4. Based in U.S.A. Small runs, made close to home, drops that do not return.
